Obverse: D N VALENTINIANVS P F AVG Helmeted, pearl-diademed and cuirassed bust of Valentinian III facing, his head turned slightly to right, holding spear over his shoulder in his right hand and with a shield, decorated with a horseman spearing fallen foe, on his left shoulder.
Reverse: SALVS REI PVBLICAE B / CONOB Theodosius II and Valentinian III, nimbate and in consular robes, seated facing on double-throne, each holding mappa in his right hand and cruciform scepter in his left; above, star.
