Emissions of Rome, according to Karl Pink.

Tempo di lettura 1 min

During the reign of Probus the mint in Rome operated from 7 officinae (workshops).

The first issue was marked with XXI and a Greek officina numeral in exergue or in field.

Subsequent issues were marked with the letter R followed by Greek numerals from A to Z, often with symbols dividing the city letter and the numeral. The final issue has letters spelling out the word AEQVITI in place of a symbol.
