Presented sesterce, arrived, and joined my collection after many logistical adventures. Finally, Roma decided to sit down and rest with the emperor, together with Victoria, symbolizing here the victory over the Polish postal system.
Minted in Rome, AD 171-172. Thick, wide (32mm), and heavy (29g) flan. A rarer depiction of the emperor wearing a cuirass. On the shield - probably the head of Medusa (it could also be a she-wolf, but after the first analysis it is Medusa). It’s a very nice natural sesterce, although difficult to film or photograph.
