🖼️ Today, 26 January 2022, a unique auction will take place. This event is organised by famous auction house Christie's and is entitled "Au Bord Du Lac: Un intérieur par François-Joseph Graf". The collection comprises 250 lots including French decorative objects, furniture and paintings, mainly from the late 19th century.
🎨 Highlights of the sale include a serene garden scene painted in Gerberoy in 1917 by Henri Le Sidaner, a set of 'Japonist' furniture designed by Édouard Lièvre and Gabriel Viardot and an impressive collection of Art Nouveau ceramics by Pierre-Andrien Dalpayrat with innovative coloured glazes.
