Crawford 339/2 (5 specimens in Paris); McCabe group M.
Considering the number of different styles found for RRC 339, Crawford probably regrouped several distinct issues under the same reference. Low weight coins, such as this one, were unofficial issues. These coins were produced during the Social War, hence the number of semi-official issues, as they were used to pay for small military expenses.
