COLLECTION NO. 1150

Extremely rare and desirable reverse type struck only during the very brief first emission at Ticinum. The portrait is still that of Florian and not yet Probus.

This is only the third specimen (for the Concordia Exerci variant) in my Probus database (the other two being in U. Neumann's collection and Rogiet hoard no. 641). I have additional 4 examples of the Concordia Exercit variant in my database.

Virtually as struck with great details and full original silvering. The finest example of this type known!

Provenance: ex Simon Luethi collection

Collection : 04 Probus - Ticinum
