Beautiful military bust with shield decorated with Emperor on horse and soldiers in the background.

This coin is part of an unpublished, very rare and brief first phase of Serdica's 3rd issue with greek letters and without the KA reform mark in exergue (Karl Pink only cites latin letters in his Aufbau. Latin letter marks were used in the second phase of this rare issue).

Only the 2nd example of this type known.
