Marc Antony, mint moving with Antony, 32-31 BC. Obv: LEG XVI Legionary eagle between two standards instead of Galley. Rev: LEG XVI Legionary eagle between two standards. (Ffc-51 similar). (Craw-544/31 similar). Extremely rare reverse XVI.
This would be a well centered and good example of how a Legio XVI would have to look like, thanks to the mint error it became a unique piece of art and many collectors dream (or nightmare). Look at the older marks and you can see a 'S' signature engraved in this specimen. Was this a signature in the die? Found more coins with this signature, never a Incusum XVI. This coin is unique in the world and I am happy to present it in this collection.
