This piece represents Monday, as is written in the Venetian language. Nowadays, almost entirely out of use, it represents the linguistic identity to one of the most crucial world cross points in history.
The symbol in the middle, represents a winged lion, appropriately called “The Lion of Venice”. It symbolizes the city, as well as it does its Patron Saint Mark. Always good to start the week off on a strong note.
