Roman Empire, Claudius II (268-270), Antoninianus, Rome mint, 1st emission, 1st officina.
Obverse: IMP C CLAVDIVS AVG, radiate and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind;
Reverse: VICTORIA AVG, Victory standing left, holding wreath in right hand and palm against left shoulder;
Notes: The B2 bust type, showing a cuirassed-only bust right, seen from behind, was used by Claudius II only at Rome and Siscia and is quite rare, though undoubtedly part of it is due to the fact that it can be very hard to tell this type apart from the very similar D2.
