Obvers: Helmeted head of Roma, in front X, behind ROMA.
Revers: ROMA / TI MINVCI C F / AVGVRINI.
Ionic column surmounted by statue; 2 ears of barley set on forepart of lion, L. Minucius Augurinus standing right, holding patera, foot on modius; to the right, M. Minucius Faesus standing left, holding lituus.
Moneyer is possibly the brother of his successor T. Minucius C.f.Augurinus. The colum stood before the Porta Trigemina for L. Minuscius Esquilinus, who 439 BC fought against a famine as Praefectus annonae. M. Minucius Faesus (with Litus) was elected for augur in 300 BC as the first plebeian.
