Commemoration:
Defection of Henri IV of France (English alliance of 1596 with Elizabeth I) and Peace of Vervins between Henri IV and Philippe II in 1598.
Obverse:
Shields of England, France, the United Provinces and Zeeland linked with orange branches. Latin legend around.

Translation: Concord with God under the guidance of an accompanying.
Reverse:
In the center, the name of Jehovah within a wreath, three arms with swords extending from it intersecting the legend in Latin. Date cut by a lily above wreath.
