RIC V Online 2983* (bust type variant)

Roman Empire, Aurelian (270-275), Antoninianus, Cyzicus mint, 7th emission, 3rd officina.

Obverse: IMP C AVR-E-LIANVS AVG, radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right, seen from the front;

Reverse: RESTITV-T-OR ORBIS, female figure standing right, crowning emperor standing left, holding sceptre in left hand; between them, suppliant figure kneeling to the right, raising arms; *Γ in exergue;

Notes: The D1 bust type is quite rare at Cyzicus for Aurelian, and in issue 7 it is known from only one example, RIC V Online 2979, which belongs to the second officina, while my example is from the third and also features a small captive between the two figures on the reverse.
