Front – in the middle of the coin is a portrait of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej. turn his face to the left He was dressed in international clothing. (in the gesture) He watered the vetiver grass he had planted to prevent water from eroding the soil. Inside the edge of the coin behind it is the message: "His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej"
On the reverse – the center of the coin reads “His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej” and the text says “IUSS Humanitarian Soil Scientist 16th April 2012”. Above the text there is an image of the Humanitarian Soil Scientist Medal. Below the text is a picture of vetiver grass. Inside the edge of the coin above is the message that “Humanitarian Soil Scientist Award, 16 April 2012”, below is a message saying the price “20 baht” and the text “Thailand”.
