Roman Empire, Claudius II (268-270), Antoninianus, Siscia mint, 3rd emission, ? officina.
Obverse: IMP CLAVDIVS AVG, radiate, draped and cuirassed bust left, seen from the front;
Reverse: AEQVITAS AVG, Aequitas standing left, holding scales in right hand and cornucopia in left hand;
Notes: The D1l bust type, despite having been used at Rome, Siscia, Smyrna and Cyzicus, is quite rare for Claudius II. This example, despite featuring a very poorly preserved reverse, sports a stunning and very carefully engraved portrait.
