Roman Empire, Claudius II (268-270), Antoninianus, Siscia mint, 1st emission, ? officina.
Obverse: IMP CLAVDIVS CAES AVG, radiate head right;
Reverse: FORTVNA RED, Fortuna standing left, holding rudder in right hand and cornucopia in left hand;
Notes: The unusual legend IMP CLAVDIVS CAES AVG is quite scarce and was only used at Siscia for Claudius II's first emission; it's clearly a callback to the legends used in the first years of the empire, but it's unclear why it was used only at Siscia and only for this emperor, throughout the entirety of the Third Century.
