Extremely rare consular bust in which the emperor is NOT holding an eagle-tipped sceptre (scipio). On 99,9% Probus consular busts Probus is holding scipio.

Extremely rare and desirable obverse legend with the bonus ("good") and invictvs ("invincible") titles. Probus was the only roman emperor to use the unusual BONUS title in the whole roman coinage! The Invictvs title was first introduced in regular coinage by Aurelian. Probus later borrowed and used this title on rare coins struck at Serdica, Ticinum and Siscia mints.

Only the 4th specimen of this exact type known!
