Exergue: ONO
Measurement: 1.37 g. (pale gold)
The attribution of this highly barbarized coin is uncertain. It is even unclear whether this coin was struck in Italy or not. The sales reference attributed to the coin to the Langobards for no particular reason. The coin may well have been struck north of the Alps, by Alamanni or Bavarians. The coin probably dates to the second half of the 6th century.
