Hybrid of a type II "cross denar" and "Otto and Adelaide" denar.

Imitation.

A fairly faithfully reproduced drawing of both the OAP denarius and the imitation type II cross denarius, omitting, of course, the legends. They consist of dashes, circles, letters and imitation characters.

Such imitations are found en masse in the Pomeranian and Polish areas.

The weight of the coin suggests it was struck in the 30s or 40s years of the 11th century.

Weight 1, 28 G, Diameter 18 MM

- ex numimarket.pl from Sklep Numizmatyczny Szerf Szczecin (Poland). December 2023.
