The Marvel Series of silver coins from the Perth Mint was released in 2017 with an original plan for a six-coin collection. The success of the series and demand for designs resulted in expansions of the designs that included a second 2019 issue, a sole 2020 issue, and now a 2021 design that brings the total to nine with the debut of Wolverine. Right now, you can buy 2021 Tuvalu Wolverine Marvel Series 1 oz Silver Coins online from Provident Metals.

Obverse
For the obverse design element of the 2021 Tuvalu Wolverine Marvel Series Silver Coin, the Perth Mint features the fourth-generation effigy of Queen Elizabeth II created for the Royal Mint of England. Designed in 1998 by Ian Rank-Broadley, this design shows the Queen wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara. This tiara was gifted to her grandmother, Mary of Teck, as a wedding present when she married the future King George V, grandfather of Elizabeth II. The inscriptions on this side include Queen Elizabeth II, Tuvalu 1 Dollar, 2021, and 1 oz 9999 Ag.
Reverse
In the reverse field of 2021 Tuvalu Wolverine Marvel Series 1 oz Silver Coin is an image of the comic book character known as Wolverine. A powerful, brooding figure, Wolverine is one of the few anti-heroes in the Marvel Comic Universe who does not shy away from using lethal force when and if necessary. In fact, one of his famous quotes describing himself comes from 1982 that reads I am the best there is at what I do, but what I do best isnt very nice. The lone inscriptions on this side are the word Wolverine and the Marvel copyright logo.
History
Wolverine debuted in the final panel of issue #180 of The Incredible Hulk. In the next issue, #181 from November 1974, Wolverine gained wider attention and would go on to feature prominently in the X-Men comics as a member of the squad of mutant figures. He also went on to feature in his own comic book series.
