Very rare and desirable reverse type struck only during the very brief first emission at Ticinum, borrowed directly from Florian, celebrating Probus as the ‘prince’ of youth. Emperor's portrait is evidently still that of Florian and not yet Probus. This coin was struck in 276 AD, in the first months of Probus’s rule, i.e. at a time when the portrait of the new ruler had not yet spreaded in the empire and had not yet reached the engravers at the Ticinum mint.
Bardzo rzadki i poszukiwany typ rewersu bity tylko podczas bardzo krótkiej pierwszej emisji w Ticinum, zapożyczony przez Probusa bezpośrednio od Floriana, sławiący Probusa jako ‘przywódcę’ młodzieży. Portret cesarza nosi jeszcze ewidentnie rysy Floriana, a nie Probusa. Moneta została wybita w 276 r., w pierwszych miesiącach panowania Probusa, tj. w okresie kiedy portret nowego władcy nie zdążył się jeszcze rozpowszechnić w imperium i dotrzeć do rytowników stempli w mennicy w Ticinum.
