Herennia Cupressenia Etruscilla Augusta

"Pudicita Augusta" Herennia Cupressenia Etruscilla was a Roman empress and the wife of Trajan Decius. She hailed from a prominent Etruscan or Italic family in Etruria, as suggested by her epithet. She was the mother of the imperial successors Herennius Etruscus and Hostilian. Coins bearing her likeness and issued in her name were minted between 249 and 251 CE. In the absence of a successor, following the ascension of Trebonianus Gallus, she may have retained her title of Augusta for life.

Pudicita was the Roman personification of modesty and purity, virtues held in the highest regard among Roman women.
