Next to the sestertius type RIC 1006, with oak wreath with legend PRIMI DECENNALES COS III S C in five lines inside, I’ve put lately the type RIC 1017 with Marcus Aurelius, veiled, togate, standing left, sacrificing out of patera in right hand over a tripod and holding scroll in left hand and the legend VOTA SVSCEP DECENN II COS III S C. It relates exactly to the vows (prayers and sacrifices) undertaken for the second decennium of rule.
