In principle, I prefer the Roman style of imperial portraits over provincial ones. In the case of Trajan's coinage, there are definitely more exceptions to this rule. These are portraits from Caesarea Cappadocia, Arabia, Tarsus, or finally Antioch, which you can see on the presented coin minted for Seleucia Pieria.
