Revers: Neptune standing left, holding aplustre in his right hand and resting his right foot on prow, between Anapias and Amphinomus, which save her parents from the erupting Aetna, above PRAEF. in exergue CLAS ET ORAE MARIT EX SC
The brothers Anapias and Amphinomus had brought their parents to safety during an eruption of Mount Aetna. This reverse depicts Pietas in action, which may be related to Sextus Pompeius's adoption of the title "Pius."
