Obv. Head of Roma to right, wearing winged helmet, pendant earring and pearl necklace; behind, star (mark of value).
Rev. P•CALP / ROMA Venus driving galloping biga to right, holding reins in her right hand and whip in her left; above, Victory flying left, crowning Venus with wreath; on the flank of the nearer horse, a star. The star on the horse flank might refer to, what Justinus called a "noticeable celestrial event" in connection with the birth of Mithradates VI Europator in ca. 134 B.C. and which probably was a comet or more likely a supernovae.
