Interesting reverse celebrating the construction of the Via Traiana, between the modern cities of Benevento and Brundisi. The traditional road between these two cities was the more famous Via Appia, but the layout of the Via Traiana, passing by the northern side of the Apennine Mountains, made the journey faster.
