Credential of the Sociedad Uruguaya Protectora de Animales Gral. Artigas belonging to José Batlle y Ordóñez issued in Montevideo on October 10, 1911. Original binding in imitation leather with gilt stamped letters. Document entitling the bearer to "request assistance from the Police and enforce compliance in all cases in which the Laws, Ordinances, Regulations and Edicts are violated, in accordance with the resolution of the Superior Government of August 19, 1907".
